I know there are a lot of photographers out there that put a lot of

time and effort in to their macro work. I'm only a hack compared to

these people. I really like the detail of the flower in this photo. I

would appreciate thoughts and comments from some of the others. Taken

with a Nikon N80, Nikon 28-105, Fuji Velvia, Handheld.

It's nice that you don't have any strong shadows on her face or neck and the lighting isn't causing her to squint. I don't care for the tree background but otherwise a very good photo in my opinion.

Great shot. I really like the the various textures, from the smootheness of his coat to the texture of his skin. I'd really like to see this printed vs. a web image.
