I shot this outside in the shade using a Canon A2 on aperture priority set at 2.8. Lens used was the 70-200mm 2.8.

I just started photographing children and this child strikes me as

rather spectacular. I shot this with Fuji Reala, which results in

spectacular color and works great for non-adult skin. I used a Canon

A2 on apeture priority set at 2.8 in the shade. He's playing on his

jungle gym in his backyard, which just happens to be in the same

color family as his hair. I thought the yellow sweatshirt balanced

well and made for a nice photograph. I'd love to know what everyone

thinks.

Excellent photo - you obviously made the child feel at ease to evoke such a great smile - I think that's half the work!

Like Andrew commented, the model looks born to pose! The double framing by the arms and then the furniture are particularily effective, and the light is, of course, excellent. All combine to make an excellent photo.

Great picture. This is the kind of photograph I'd expect to see on Kodaks web page to motivate people to take pictures.

Shouldn't this adorable young man be enjoying a bowl of Life cereal right about now?

Cool kid! Great shot! Joe, your comment (above) is right on.
