Colors seem a bit unreal, but the light is good.

Great idea, Grayce! I like the reflection and color contrast.
-
Excelent perspective!
-
Too bad that the main stream splits the photo into two. I'd rather try using telephoto and select those falls in the background. Good luck.
-
Very beautiful colors, good composition.
-
Great DOF and exposure.

Well, you could have clone the child seat out, but of course it requires a lot of work. Yeah, and I agree with the comment above regarding sepia. Otherwise, it's a very nice photo.
-
Nice framing. Like B&W too.
-
Nice fern, have you tried different angles of view? They might be more interesting to pronounce structure of the leaves.
-
Well captured!

I can see a nice story here and a good eye-to-eye line that was well captured.

Very pleasant waterall, Gerard. Nicely composed and exposed. Yes, I have to agree with Douglas regarding perfectly timed exposure. I achieved similar results when was shooting small waterfalls with more than 8 sec. Kudos.

Well framed and composed shot, Sergey. I don't agree with Giulia regarding the central position of the sun.
-
All right, here it is.
First, I think this shot has way too much details and points of interest that the author wanted to put into one image (" ... the sunspot, the rock face, the waterfall, and the opening in the weeds..."). I would add a part of the bridge and the fallen trunk. Does it not make the composition a bit overloaded? As a result, the main subject is not well pronounced. So, you got to decide what it is your message and deliver it.
Second, the angle of view could be more interezting rather then just being straight. I am sure if you walked around you could find more dramatic views.
Third, I don't think that the foreground leads to the waterfall. It's not sharp, is not very interesting, takes 2/5 of the image, and there are no lines of bushes/grass/leaves or a good tonal perspective that leads your eye towards the waterfall. The only line is horizontal represented by the trunk and it blocks the direction as well.
As for "great work of art". Sure nobody expects here to create another Mona Lisa, though every effort should include some thinking. I didn't say the place was not beautiful, but I can see that the shot could be done better with a bit more creativity.
Good luck, Kurt. I hope no offence was taken, 'cause no offence meant. -
Nothing special IMO. Very traditional and poorly composed shot. 3/3

I like Jim's version too.
-
Original? Rather ridiculous (3/3)

All,
thanks for commenting on the photo. I appreciate it much.
Jay, thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try.

I am dissapointed to learn that these are just regular lamps even though they have special shade. I don't think it's a great success here IMO.
-
This one stands out better IMO.

Very beautiful. Logs can be found in almost every waterfall, so it is difficult not to have it in a shot. I think here it nicely connects two parts of the image, so I wouldn't be bothered at all. Good work.
-
This is a very well composed photo IMO. I like how silky water streams down and keeps your eye following it. Well done.

Too much of UN mask applied, otherwise it is interesting.
