  1. Hi All, Thank you for the feedback. Tony, it is interesting that you mentioned about the first cows eye and tongue. This is the shy cow that was very reluctant to take the apple and would run away as soon as it got it, the other cow was happy to keep harassing us for more. So you have found a story from my image which is cool! If i am honest i didn't think about the areas of sky distracting the viewers eye. These are the things i need to be thinking of as a new beginner so the feedback on this post is really helpful. In the first image, i liked the branches and in the first image, not sure if i can explain exactly why and in the second i liked how the fence line continued - but now i think about it i suppose this just ends up taking you to the sky & away from the cow. I am happy with the background in the third image, my driveway is a bit of a mess, you cant see it in the image but you would have if more was in focus. I looked at the third image and cropped so only the wrist remained and i do prefer that option! This has really got me thinking about the images i want to take, rather than just point and hope for the best. Thanks!
  2. Thank you so much for your replies and advice. I enjoyed reading them all and will certainly take the advice on board. I completely understand what you mean about choosing one photo and number 3 would also be my favorite, I love all the dribble. I can confirm it is an Apple, although im sure they would devourer a lime also.Thank you again!
  3. Hi There, I am new to website, hello all! I am also very new to the manual mode, and today i practiced by taking a few photos of the neighbors cows. I notice i am always scrolling to the widest aperture and going from there, not sure if this is the right approach. Would love to hear your thoughts and any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks, Chloe
