  1. My favorite pepper impression! (It's actually amazingly close.)

    From The Ashes

Yipes! I hope there was a nearby river for cleanup...

    River of Dreams

Once again, careful attention to the lighting greatly enhances your image of a beautiful model.
  4. Well done. Good control of the dynamic range without screaming HDR.

    Safe Haven

Very nicely rendered. What did you use to light the model and rock face?

    SMUTWOOD PASS

[[show-photo-18631791]] Hi, Evgeny. To my eye, it appears that the image processing on one side of the shadow line at this portion of the ridge is not consistent with that on the other side. In particular, it seems like prints with two very different exposures and contrasts have been pasted together. I can understand why one would want different processing values between the deeply shadowed face and the sunlit snow, but ideally the transition areas should not draw undue attention to themselves. The attached comparison is a quick & dirty illustration of what I mean, although I consider the boundary line itself to remain very unconvincing.

    SMUTWOOD PASS

What an impressive scene! Your photo definitely makes me want to hike into the area the next time I'm in the vicinity. Visually, I generally find that mid-elevation views in the mountains are far more appealing than those from high summits, and this is a prime example. The one feature I find somewhat incongruous is the ridge midway between the left lake and the summit above. It's a relatively minor point, but the rock portion immediately to the right of the shadow line doesn't look natural. Thanks for posting.

    Seneca Rocks, WV (9-28-11)

This photo brings back fond memories of the many days spent here years ago.

Very nice balance of exposure between model and window.

    By the waterfall

Ah, the disappearing swimmer... I do think this works better with just the solo subject.

    New River Bridge, WV

I've never seen this impressive bridge, although I canoed the stretch of river below it a couple of times before it was built. Perhaps one of these days...
  12. Great location for figure studies. The results are a testament to your ability and that of the beautiful model.

Just out of curiosity, what is happening at the bottom of this picture? It has obviously been modified.
