    Galah

An iconic bird in Australia. This one didn't mind posing...
  4. ...but such majestic looking birds!

    Sacred Kingfisher

Definitely not my best shot but the colours were so gorgeous I had to include it...

    Spider

Don't know much about spiders but this one caught my eye when it strung up its web on our verandah. Tried a number of techniques to capture it and ended up using an 80-200mm f/2.8. It provided the detail I needed with the good bokeh.

    Lucky macro shot!

It's not often that a fly will pose for a photo, but this one did. A very lucky shot!
  8. I liked this shot because of the clear detail in the feathers, the subtle colours and the bokeh! Shot at Oxley Common, Brisbane

    Japanese train

I only posted this because I think it's the perfect example of why people like Fujifilm cameras. It was taken with an X-T1 and the colours and resolution look perfect to me...

    Frangipani

An unexpected result when testing out my new 80-200mm f/2.8. Random shot of the flowers against the background of my blue box trailer. Maybe not to everyone's taste but it works for me.
  11. Kanazawa IIRC. Couldn't resist the combination of the contrast between the bright foreground and the afternoon twilight. The bokeh helped of course!
  12. Gorgeous little birds!
  13. The mature males are the ones that justify the name
  14. Only included this one because I liked the reflection
