What I've found from previous complaints I've received is that you may have signed up your email address to receive these emails in the past. Due to the advancing techology in these marketing emails, once you visit the website and it recognizes your email, through cookies (like if you're signed in to Chrome) then you may receive a marketing email if you have not opted to stop receiving these.
