  3. Thank you for the nice feedback. Yes, to capture the exposure needed you would need some sort of tracking mount. The mount is probably more important than the camera/optics. A great resource for information and a place to post questions would be cloudynights.com. In general its a bit more involved than terrestrial photography although many of the same principles apply.
  4. Thank you for the nice feedback. .If you meant for this picture, its exposure is about 5 hours total. If you mean how long have I been doing astrophotography, about 6 years.
