Very nice IR! Congrats on POD, also.

Outstanding landscape with excellent details and finely controlled lighting.

Thanks to both Mitch and Foueyes for your comments!

Wonderful B&W with tonality to die for!
-
Superb architectural abstract with the added benefit of light trails.
-
Superb shot. Maybe the top animal image I've seen in some time here.

Only a great eye sees this reflection and so many great details. Most people walk right past what really good photographers SEE and shoot. You can travel with friends and when you get home and they look at your photos they ask, "were we on the same trip?"

Yes, I carried a Feisol carbon fiber travel sized tripod that fits well even in small luggage. There are tripods everywhere, so no complaints on that. The issue when we were there was getting shots without Chinese newlyweds in full wedding dress posing for pros or friends. We had to wait a lot at a few spots. But it's worth it.

Yes, It's all about light & shadows and the white lines make it pop. Thanks!

Foureyes- Thanks again! Even as much as it has changed since the 90's, Bali, as you said, really is still 'a tropical state of mind.'

Beautiful moment of calm and peace! Would make a great CD cover for a smooth jazz or downtempo electronica/chillout album...ala Paul Hardcastle or Ryan Farish.

A gem. Nat Geo has a sad current article about these beauties being poached for food in Africa.

I love how you've texturized the sky. Or is it the entire photo? Winner!
-
Like a fine art painting and I love it! Moody, evocative and beautiful.

Tony - Yes, the smoke acts as a filter. I'm in the Palm Springs area and we had heavy smoke here from the fires in the mountains around Idyllwild. Now Orange and Riverside counties have several fires going. Another horrendous California fire season. Thanks!

Outstanding macro, Michelle! And big enough here to see from space...ha! Cheers!

Once again you've taken things to new heights in an image that unmistakably yours. A classic!
