  4. There are over 1000 species of Eucalypt trees (commonly referred to as Gum trees) in Australia, and their trunks and bark look stunning in the right light. This was taken during a snowfall near the town of Oberon in the NSW central tablelands

    Thanks Vincent, I appreciate the comments. I took this shot quite a while back, before I had Lightroom, and I can't remember if I've tried processing it in Lightroom. Do you know if DXO Photolab is better than Lightroom for reducing noise?

    Thanks George, I was happy with the result. Some of the light is from the small village to the right of the shot, and I used a flash to highlight the tracks
  11. Thanks Tony. I had to wait a couple of nights for the cloud to clear. There are no towns nearby so the stars are amazing - just a little light on the ground from the nearby campground
