    Thanks John, I really appreciate your help! I was thinking that i was going to be buying some new parts to fix it! but once again, just a little bit of a belly rub and another rollei is back to life :rolleyes:

    I just figured out it's actually called a Rolleiflex 'New standard K6'. They only produced 8000 between 1939-1941 (i guess they had other things to deal with at that time) It was apparently built as a price bridge between rolleiflex and rolleicord. I think it is all fully functioning, and working as it is supposed to! Will put a film through and see how the photos come out :)

    Thanks for the advice, I put old film through the rollers and it has freed up the crank so it goes all the way around! Although, I'm not sure that it is meant to turn full circle!? here's another update video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3IijJRoLVE Many thanks, Fred

    Hi, I have recently purchased a lovely little rolleiflex k4 from ebbbbbay and i believe it has a problem, but it might just be a different mechanism? The crank will only wind a quarter turn before it stops, i can then turn it back to original position and fire the shutter. (shutter fires right at all speeds) The shutter count stays on 8. I have used older rolleiflex cameras in the past and newer rolleicords but i'm new to this model. Any ideas?
