Glen- after the ring has been reused a few times it tends be loose. The ring works well for my Konica Auto S2, Minolta SRT cameras, and my Canonet GIII 17 I usually skip the ring on my Rollei 35 and Rollei 35S as the battery cap can hold a 675 tight enough to make contact.

Bought a new Canon 7s rangefinder camera and meter does not work. Used WeinCell MRB 626, but needlel won't move. Any suggestion will be welcome.

How about a Canon P? One of the most affordable interchangeable lens rangefinders, and more modern than the screwmount Leicas that take the same lenses.

Agree, the Canon P is quite similar to the Leica M3 at a much more affordable price. I love the camera. There is a host of screw mount lenses fro all sorts of origins to play with

I live in California and have had mixed result with commercial labs. I no longer process my films at home. Any suggestion I live in Sacramento.
