I have still been using my Bogen now Manifrotto 3021 with 3029 head many years. Used to use it with a Mamiya RB in my large format days. I used to have a linhof plate but doesn't conform to my DSLR. Does anyone know if there is a new mounting plate/quick release that I can use on this old head? The caulk on the tripod is so worn my dslr slips in the vertical orientation. I also have another 3021 with a 3025 that was given to me and I could probably make that work. It is probably time to step up to a new tripod, but it seems (not to sound old) nothing is made like it used to be. Many thanks!
