Old Angenieux 25-250 PL mounts usually sell from 1000-3200
Fujinon MK50-135mm sell for 4000
Sony FE PZ 28-135mm sell for 1500-2000
Both the Angenieux and Fujinon I assume can only cover super 35mm sensors. While the Sony is full frame.
I've heard people say it's not worth buying an old Angenieux because they are too old to be as sharp as they once were and need maintenance. I've also seen people criticize the Sony FE PZ 28-135mm for breaking really easily and the mount pieces being made of plastic that snaps.
I have a Sony A7Sii and I want to buy a cine lens with zoom capability. But it seems I have no good options

I've been looking at a lot of lens and the Sony FE PZ 28-135mm seems like the best value for the price.
But others criticize it for being not a real cine lens, distortion, cheap build, awkward controls.
Then there are the Rokinon, Zeiss Compact Prime, and Sony 70-200mm which isnt a cine lens.
I currently own only one of the most hated lens the Sony FE 50mm f/1.8.
Any suggestions?

What do you guys think of this listing?

Does this mean people that offer high scans for 8mm and 16mm are basically conning people?
-
I hear people claim that 16mm is no larger than 2K in resolution. So is having it scanned at a higher resolution overkill?
-
Interesting.
What kind of aperture would be better than f4? 2.8? Would there will be DOF then?
It seems there is no sony equivalent for 16:1.
Earlier on it was mentioned that it could be a camera with a built in zoom like the Nikon Coolpix P900. But I don't know what kind of quality that camera would achieve.

It depends what you are using it for. I use fresh and expired film.
Would recently expired film that can still be processed produce interesting effects?

Questions: What are the desired result? - 1080p video? 4K video? Stills? - If so, which size? // Limitations? - Budged? - Has the camera to be stealthy? Is working in broad daylight OK or should it work indoors?
I'm not a video guy. - I think you need a 300mm equivalent lens and might be happier with 400mm equivalent. Read for an overview of bottom level compact cameras that might be suitable.
I think crucial specs to look for would be praise earning AF performance + optical image stabilization in the same camera.
4k VIDEO. Limitations? Under 5K. Stealthy? No. Work in both.
I'm thinking Sony A7Sii and Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G
Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 G OSS Lens SEL70200G B&H Photo Video
Would that suffice?

Is buying expired Kodachrome film a good idea? I wouldn't mind if it caused discoloration. But is expired film from decades ago completely unusable?
On Kodak Vision 3 film. Do I need to load and unload the film in complete darkness. Or is it okay if I do it in a well lit room or daylight?

This video demonstrates a 5 step process to turn flat 16mm film to vibrant colors. I know its an apple pro res file.
Unfortunately the channel is no longer active. Does anyone know what filters I can buy or use to achieve these results?

This couldn't have been filmed on a paillard h16 reflex, right?
Is it more likely this was filmed on a REX-5? Or an electronic motor bolex?
Is it possible to tell what kind of aperture lens was used for this?
