<p>I do a lot of animal, insect, flower, scenery and pow wow photos a few baby/family. I am really into macro with flowers and insects. I am a novice. I want to get the 100mm high end macro lens with IS. Insects scare easily.<br>
I have read mention that macros are 'flat' what does this actually mean? will it ruin scenery shots etc? <br>
And what about the 55mm as a macro? I have read this is not a true macro? or there are 2 different types.<br>
What is a good choice for me? what do I really want to consider outside the 100mm that is Not expensive but doesn't loose sharpness and is versatile? </p>
