<p>A couple weeks ago, I used my EF 24-105mm IS L lens on a Sony A7s ii using a Metabones adapter. I played around with the autofocus capabilities but had no luck.<br> Now, back on my 5D iii, the lens autofocus motor will not work. When I try to use autofocus, I get no sound of an attempt to change focus and no focus lock. The only way I can shoot with the autofocus is if the shot coincidentally matches the focus that is set on the camera.<br> The autofocus on the camera is working with other lenses, just not this one.<br> I have the same problem when using the lens on my 60D.<br> Is there a way to reboot the software in the lens, in case there's a software problem? <br> Does anyone have any other suggestions?<br> Thanks,<br> Joe</p>
