<p>I'd like to find a lens similar to Tamron 200-400 or Sigma 170-500mm as a gift for a friend. I have seen many on Ebay that were affordable, but would not autofocus with his D40X or D5200. Exactly what lens mount designation would be full feature for those models? Thanks.</p>

<p>Thanks. Manual has CF info for type 1 or 2 but doesn't mention maximum recognized. I should be fine with a couple smaller cards. I appreciate the quick reply.</p>
