This image is fantastic. The way you've created your composition was tediously done. From the way the shadows of the power lines play and the two main clouds breaking up the blue space, you've got yourself one great image. What really does it for me is the coiling wire, without that you'd have a nice image, but not as strong and intriguing. I almost wish the extension of the power structure in the upper left was moved a half of an inch to the right so that we have more blue space to break up the congested edge. Overall, I love how you are able to make the viewer scan the entire image over and over entranced by the dynamic composition.

Great shot. The web line cutting across the image really does it for me. I like that you didn't position this line in the corners but slightly off. The focus on the legs and body is interesting; with the legs out of focus, it creates a nice visual reading. I want to see more of the web line in the top left corner. Maybe a little more focus on the spider's head would be interesting as well rather than the abdomen being your focal point. Overall, the image reads well and has a fairly dynamic angular composition. You caught a great moment in nature.
