1. Hi from Downunder !! Apparently I joined two years ago, uploaded an image or two and then for whatever reason, totally forgot. No excuses, so I'll blame it on age. I would like to participate again and this time, there will be no forgetting  p.s. love the little emoticons :) Cheers Sandra

    Sharing the burden

The barbules (thank you Google search for finding the correct word!) of a feather join together to hold one drop of water.

  5. A waterdrop on a moss seed catching a little shine.
  6. Hi Charles, this keeps catching my eye. Perhaps it's the visual feeling of floating through air and smoke or a final journey but whatever the reason, I really do like this. Cheers

  8.
Hey there, my name is Sandra but everyone calls me Sam. I've been on my own journey through the splendiferous world that is macro. I am in awe of the little secrets that nature brings us but we never really see unless we look really closely. I am self taught which means for the last 7 years I have continued on a steep learning curve and the day that that learning curve starts to straighten out, is the day I will no longer have the passion or the drive to continue.
It all began with a very patient butterfly on the grass to the images I now take which are mainly dandelion seeds, waterdrops grasses and moss seeds. My images are on a more emotional level than a visual depiction of a flower or an insect. I love color and I love bokeh. If just one person has a look at only one of my images and perhaps smiles, then I will have achieved more than I could hope for.
Thank you for your time - it is appreciated.
Cheers
Sam
