assuming you fixed it a bit in PS...but what the heck, its still a beautiful picture.
know what I really like in this picture? her clenched fist. because that seems to show an emotion which is other than the one reflected on her face. or maybe I am just reading too much into this :-)

This one is fantastic. Imagine it would be more delightful in b/w.
Your other similar one, without the woman on the chair is a waste of a shot...compared to this picture of yours. Love the way the glass table tops show up, love the diagonal framing (deliberate or inadvertent)
Really really loved this, and loved the rest of your portfolio as well.

lovely picture. by the way, did you know what those stone slabs are?
they are used by local washermen, to whack clothes on. :-)
-
loved most of your work. and though sort of like fashion photos, I enjoyed the warmth of the shots (which is unlike what you usually find in fashion photography). Of course a beutiful model helps, but I like the tropical feel that you have createed with the water, the vegetation around, the stone and the addition of green.

is this beautiful or what?
-
mood, model and picture. love the shot.

two three things:
- perceive you cropped this after shooting. maybe you shdnt have...seems a bit too tight.
- saturated color wd look great. did you convert to B/W later, by any chance?
- and slow shutter speed would make this look dreamy.
saw your other pix. liked them.
-
cheap scanner, scanned from oldish print. so the saturation is a bit
low. but would love comments on basic composition. yes, I realise this
is a much photographed area.

Very nice MH...you are good...and so is Ms C. great combination. I loved some of the other ones of Ms C in the car, closeups and on the snooker table.

really wonder why this picture has relatively low ratings. IMHO, this is nice, really nice. Captures the mood, captures the pleasantness of the situation and also shows the direct gaze from the bride (for her husband)...I would give this a higher rating than this picture has recd. so far. Check the b/w version of this BTW...the contrast might have done the trick tho...
-
nice, very nice. love the smoke, clouds creating contrast. and also the dark trees in the foreground. wonder if b/w would take anything away from this photo though!
-
would love to hear from you about this photo.

Zero amount of PS actually. and a low res scanner to boot.
-
would really appreciate critique on this photo. this was Christmas
Night on Michigan Avenue...had done the usual bracketing and taken 3-4
shots of the same place...and this one was the slightly underexposed
one and thought that the effect of colors was a bit more dramatic than
in the other ones. the streaks on the foreground are of course light
trails from passing vehicles.

yep, I had some photos of the Antelope) on photo.net. apologies for the miserable scanner though. the prints look nice and saturated

i love to photograph aircraft myself and done what you have done at different airports. the effort and patience it takes to do it is quite a bit. so please do take my critique with a pinch of salt. besides the timing of the photograph, there is one more thing which makes a difference. This is purely from my experience. your subject is one of the smallest things on the photo :-(. You might want to use a different lens. crop out all the water and part of the grass from the front too, otherwise, it starts looking like a nature photo (almost). Personally, I would love to see the photo of the aircraft somewhat bigger. Sometime, including airport equipment (lights, strobes, ILS beacons) help quite a bit. you might want to check out some of the photos on airliners.net

hi fellow photog,
would appreciate some critique of this photo and the other ones at
http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=119910
These were shot earlier this month. some of the photos have a dark
half - that is deliberate, I wanted to create the contrast and use the
light instead of having the usual both sides well lit kind of pix. My
only glitch was that the widest that I can go is a 28mm. technically
speaking, what all could I improve? Lighting and composition, perhaps
is what I am asking about. any other comments are greatly appreciated.
txs a ton :-)

manage to take a photo at the North Rim on the date that you mentioned? The road to north rim is closed till the 15th of May this year.

this pix, I think, is the best of the lot. Has a beautiful oil painting like quality - perhaps accentuated by the mud layers (adobe?) and the peeling paint. Has a very impressionist aura to it with the boy playing on the steps. beautiful composition, fabulous picture
