<p>Hello everyone. I'm a fan of minolta manual focus cameras and just got an XD 11. Despite hearing such great things about this camera, I'm a little disappointed. First, the LED lights for the light meter are only lit up when I'm depressing the shutter release button. It's really tricky not to accidently press it too far while I'm just trying to meter my scene. Is it normal for the light meter to turn off the instant I take my finger off the shutter release?<br>
<br />Also, the shutter is nice and quiet in shutter priority mode, but in manual mode and aperture priority mode, it sounds very "clunky" just like the shutter of the x-700. Is this also normal?</p>
