1.
Figured out the problem. Apparently, the mag was dropped at some point (explaining the poor fitting spool holder). It has a very small crack where the chrome rail attaches to the body of the magazine. That's where the light is entering from. I took a flashlight and checked the trap (ok). Then ran the light around the edges and found the crack toward the back of the mag. Thanks for your help. Happy shooting.

 2.
I've been shooting exclusively on a NIKON D600. I borrowed a friend's Hasselblad 500CM to shoot some 120. I noticed that while loading the film into the magazine, there was a little play to get the ring lock secured -- maybe just 1 or 2 mm, but a little play, nonetheless. (I'll try to describe it like this -- the spool mechanism isn't completely snug in the magazine. To get it to lock, you have to pull it out maybe a millimeter or two and then it locks.) I'm wondering if this is the result. Note the line of light flash in on left side of frame.) And how is it fixed? Gaffer's tape on the seal? Or camera shop for repair? Lab problem? What's curious is it's not on every single frame. Any help or direction is greatly appreciated!!!
