<p>Yes, I am scanning Color Negative film (Ektar 100 and Portra 400) and sometime B&W (Kodak T-Max 400). Dedicated film scanners are just way of my price range. Local shop have NORITSU QSS -37HD but they are too expensive (best scans at 4000x6000 cost 20 euro for one roll of film).</p>

<p>Local shop does developing of my film and I scan on Canon 9000F mark II (because it is way cheaper). Will I be able to notice difference between 3.5 and 2.8?</p>

<p>Hello, I am started with photography and bought my first camera ever, Nikon FE with Tokina AT-X f2.8 60-120mm lens and I am looking for some 28mm (or 35mm) lens because Tokina is too big and heavy (630g) for day to day use (also focusing is really slow and have really small field of view). I think that Nikon 28mm (Ai/Ai-S) would be best for me but I cannot decide between versions (Ai and Ai-S) and f-stops (f2.8 and f3.5). I red Ken Rockwell reviews and some other reviews and everybody praises 28mm Ai-S f2.8 but it is more expensive than 28mm Ai-S f3.5 (also Ai versions are cheaper but even after differences between Ai and Ai-S I don't know if Ai-S is worth so much more). I am on budget so I plan to buy only one lens and use daily. I choose 28mm because I shoot on streets and also family/friends and with current Tokina lens I have to move really far away to focus and fill photo.</p>

<p>Hello, I am looking to buy Canon A-1 with standard lens to learn photography. I found couple cheap on ebay (60-100$) but I am not sure about condition. Problem is live in central Europe and there aren't many film camera shops and shipping with tax from US is mostly about 50$. I found one shop with good reviews in UK and they sell Canon A-1 with lens and flash for 225$ with shipping. Camera have new battery, light seals and have complete CLA. I would rather pay 225$ for really nice working camera on which I can rely for couple years than buy something really cheap and then trying to find someone who can fix it. <p>Hello, I would like to learn film photography and last two weeks have been researching what camera should I buy and where. I ended with two picks Canon AE-1 Program and Rollei 35 (S or SE model) and I am not sure which would be better for someone who wants to learn how to shoot (without wasting too much film). I will be shooting mainly on streets during day and sometimes during night or evening. Canon AE-1 Program seems as best choice for me but Rollei 35 is really compact and beautiful camera which I could carry everyday without bag or case but is awful to use with flash (source: every review). Is it possible to capture night life (darker rooms, bars, night clubs...) with Rollei 35 without flash? Is Rollei 35 usable/recommended for beginners?<br> Also I am looking for good place to buy used and refurbished film camera. Problem is I live in central europe (Slovakia) and if I would buy from KEH or B&H I will pay about 50-100$ just for shipping, also I have bad experience with shipping from USA (broken packages). I am looking on ebay but I am afraid that camera will not work or have some issues and I will have to pay for expensive repairs. Is there any EU based online shop which is selling either of those cameras? I don't mind to pay little bit more for excellent condition but I want camera to work as should be.</p>
