<p>I have been using a SB600 flash with my D700 and recently had problems -- the flash wasn't working properly. The flash was intermittent. I figured the 600 was failing after reading forum posts.<br> I bought a used SB800 and it isn't working right either. It is flashing consistently but it appears to be flashing before the shutter opens -- it seems like the full flash is occurring when the TTL preflash should be occurring.<br> Any idea what could be wrong, or things you could suggest I try? I have tried adjusting camera setting and flash settings.<br> Thank you. </p>
