    Beautiful landscape, the sky and mountain in background are just incredible! Somewhat in line with the other critique, the foreground sides are too dark and rather artificial, the touchup really shows. Still, this is a lovely image, great job.

    I was driving home after Thanksgiving with my photo gear when I saw

    the "almost full" moon rising and so I quickly went down side roads

    looking for a good foreground. This Lancaster County farmhouse

    couldn't have been better. What do you think?

    The subdued tones and color are just perfect for the mood this photograph seeks to invoke. Add to all that the stillness of the water and the shadowed rowboat and this is just an excellent photograph.

    Used graduated +2 ND filter on scene taken just after sunset. Did a

    little bit of photoshop tweeking on the scanned slide to take blue out

    of non-sky region (bottom 1/3).
