Instead of using a slide projector have you ever thought of double exposing the photo? takeing the picture of the girls arm on the piano in the studio and then go outside and take photo of the moon. you would just have to get the exposures set correct but it should be that hard. maybe you should give it a try and upload it so we can see what it looks like

What you should have done in this picture is get inside the bus and hide yourself in the seats and you some big glass. that way you wouldn't have to use photoshop to hide yourself -
If you want a better sports action picture you should get on the court, if possible, around the corner of the baseline. that way you can get the players running on the outside toward the goal. you also need a faster shutter speed, 200/sec minimum. the real key to sports is to take alot of pictures. I will go to a baseketball game and take 300 photos with my D1 and only use 2. Just to give you an idea of what PJ's go through to get a photo. -
