<p>Hello, everyone. This is my first time on this sight, so sorry if I'm not in the right section. I have a Canon AE-1 camera for my film photography class along with a Canon Lens FD 50mm 1:1.8. The problem I'm having is that when I change the f/stop, nothing actually happens. The light meter is not affected, the aperture does not actually stop down or open up at all. I did something for my first assignment that actually allowed me to change the f/stop, but it does not work anymore, for some reason. Please help me, I am in danger of failing my class.</p>
