  1. <p>Thank you all for your responses. I have disassembled that lens and here is how the part with broken cable looks like (first photo). I guess it's an engine. Second photo shows the rest.   2. <p>Hello there,<br> I have a Panasonic DMC-FZ38 digital camera and I want to transform it manually replacing built-in lens (Leica DC Vario-Elmarit) with Helios 44M-4 (from Zenit analog camera). But that built-in Leica has a broken cable and camera itself is showing me an error after turning it ON - "system error (focus)".
