nice shot. Simple but still very pleasing!
-
Very nice geometric composition : I like these so much. Your portfolio has many great pictures.
-
Great! But maybe a human subject would have given more impact?
-
Beautiful! I like very much the contrats and the geometric construction.
-
Beautiful : the panoramic format, the children and the lamp on the left, all work remarkly well. Great picture.
-
Beautiful. Thanks for this picture.
-
Great picture. I would just cut a little of the bottom part that is empty.
-
same opinion as Rainer. And I would also have taken the picture from a lower point of view, so that the man would contrast with the sky. Anyway a very nice pic.

Please critics and feed back. Thanks

Superb! A very moving picture, nicely composed!

There is a lot of ideas in this image : I like the abstract aspect and the grain. That gives a very fantastic feeling. But the result doesn't work : I can find no story in this image. Maybe with a different subject?
-
Your light is very constrasted : imoo it might work for graphical effect on a nude for example, but here your object is whithout any interest for the viewer and the image just doesn't work. Change your lighting conditions or your subject.

Any comments on your feeling, impression, how to improve welcome.
Thanks.

Interesting colors and composition. I would cut a little the right part of the image that is too big, imoo. It looks like the focus has been made on the leaf rather than on the butter fly. Too bad.

Picture of a tree lighted from behind by the sun. I liked the pattern
of the branches, so I cut the upper and lower part of the picture to
give the main importance to the branches, and put the trunk in the
middle for symetry.
How's your personnal feeling? Like it or not?
Thanks.

A very humoristic view! But I have the impression that you just shoot the picture without trying to give it a personal touch?
-
Just one macrophoto among many others... Sorry but it lacks something to mark it out of the rest.
-
The vertical construction is nice and works well: the eye is immediastly conducted to the center of the picture. But it is deceived by the only object it can find : a small street lamp. What is the subject of the picture?
-
That's a beautiful picture. I like the opposition between the deep blue of the sky and the orange reflexion on the windmill. I like the composition.
Great.

It was a temporary exhibit of sculptures inspired by Salvator Dali's
work. I tried to convey the surrealism aspect of his work by mixing
the front statue with the distant and big column, and rotate the
image to get opposing lines of direction (the statue and the colum).
I printed the final result on baryted paper.
Does it work? How pleasing is the final result?
Thanks for your commments.

choose your subject: either the sky or the road, and give it the most part of the image. Here, the skyline is just in the middle of your image. Work the composition of the image, if you want to emphazise the loneliness of this winter rad, maybe a vertical format, and a wide angle lens, showing the road going endlessly in the distance?

The print is good, I like the lighting, and the composition seems good : the vertical of the right man effectively closes the image, with its gaze directing the viewer towrdds the fish. Not a very artisitc picture by itself, but a good one for a reportage.
