Hello everyone,

I am using an Epson SC-p600 printer and printing out of photoshop - and I am really struggling to get the colours right when selecting 'photoshop manages color'. Please can someone help? My question is: Why are all the colours coming out wrong in photoshop, what am I doing wrong? I can get a decent print using Lightroom or choosing 'printer manages colors' - but not using 'photoshop manages colours'.

1) When I select "Ps manages color" I get terribly over saturated look in the images. Look at the quick comparison here:

Top image printed in LR looks very close to on screen image - bottom PS one is very saturated - what on earth is happening? I can't seem to fix it.

here are my settings: RGB 16 bit, adobe 1998 color space, I select 'edit in photoshop from the lightroom menu' files are set to .tiff and 16 bit, and adobe 1998 rgb - what am I doing wrong?:

I profiled my monitor using colormunki display, I selected 'PINN_MATTE230_SC_600' which is the paper I downloaded from the paper website I bought it from.

I set it so that epson doesn't control the colours, because I selected 'photoshop manages color'

2) When I tested printing in LR i managed to get ok colours. Here's what I am using:
