@mukul: I did received an email from him as a reply for my query. He charges around $55 for Kiev 4. Can you suggest if he's good or are there any other options apart from him as Russia is a long shot for me. The shutter ribbon is worn off and it has problem with shutter coming back to its normal position. @Firtz: I'm as much Indian as my name is. Lol. Do you have any contact details of Subbarayan. Being in india I can even visit him for my solution. That would be a better option as it would be easier and quicker. @Chuck: thanks for the links. I'm an amateur when it comes to camera. So I am afraid I would do more damage while trying to fix it. Better have good professional hands for the solution.
