    Mirror's Edge

Ace, Untitled ( sea grass and water?) grabbed me and drew me back over and over. I felt I had been there before but of course that was not it. I went and searched impressionist painters and decided that your vision has qualities in common with Monet, but is neither derivative nor reflective of that master's work. It is clearly your own, and an image that speaks to me. I see summer mornings fishing by the pond, breezes playing in the rushes, and the scent of new life filling the air. The colors are as peaceful as the scene, lulling my active mind and begging me to relax and enjoy. The movement of the water amplified by the light forces me to hear the gentle lapping at the shoreline and for a moment I am transfixed. Some photos manage to evoke and impress apart from technique and craft,, and this is one of those rare exposures that captures essence. I envy you for having been there at that moment, and for having the vision to make the image.. Well done and thank you for sharing it! Charlie
  3. I am having the same problem. It makes it VERY difficult to organize and keep track if a user cannot permanently delete a file. I uploaded a series of files that duplicatd prior low-res images and then attempted to remove the older files. No luck! On my portfolio page they re-appear within a matter f hours. This is a major PIA that has persisted for quite some time according to the posts complaining about it. I would prefer that bugs in basic operations were fixed prior to new layouts and appearance.
