1.
Yes, the infinity is actually adjustable, or at least it is on my version. I'm using it on a Nikon D5200, and before taking it apart, I wasn't actually able to focus to infinity, which is normal when you try to use old M42 lenses on Nikon bodies. When struggling to re-assamble it, I found out that when you screw the two parts of 'B' (as it is named on the other forum) all the way in, you have to unscrew it at least one full turn to actually be able to re-assamble it, and then after that, the further you unscrew it, the more it will focus at (or even beyond) infinity, but then again, if you unscrew it too much, you won't be able to re-assamble it.

 2.
Thank you Rod, I already found a very helpful forum in the meantime, and managed to put it back together. I'm amazed how sharp images it can produce, even wide open. I'm using it on a Nikon, and you can actually adjust the infinity focus too, which is a good thing for Nikon usres. Here's the forum, if anyone else is interested or struggling with this version too: http://forum.mflenses.com/tessar-50mm-alu-reassembly-t11938.html

 3.
Hi,

I recently disassembled my Carl Zeiss lens, to try to fix the focus ring, because it was really hard to turn. The problem is that I can't seem to put it back together, and I haven't found any tutorails for this version of the lens, only for the black ones. When I put on the focus ring and the mount separately, they do fit, but when I screw them together and try to put it on the lens, as it should be, something's blocking it and it doesn't go further. Could anybody help me somehow? I uploaded a few photos of it here:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6kZ0FXj12qPR3Zjbl9yaHJtSHM
