<p>I inherited a Konica FT 1, and set out to use it on a trip with friends. I replaced the batteries, popped in a new roll of 400 film, and set everything to AE to try it out. The film was locked onto the small gears, and when I closed the back of the camera, the roll advanced. However, when I pressed the capture button, there was no "click"-- either the mirror or the shutter didn't retract to allow light to reach the film. I took off the lens and checked to make sure the mirror wasn't stuck, and found the problem was with the shutter and not the mirror. Any advice on how to get this camera working?</p>
