I had heard mixed information regarding the classification of "journalist" for these purposes so I appreciate you clarifying. <p>I was wondering if anyone has applied for journalist visas to travel to Cuba? I'm currently trying to plan a trip to photograph this beautiful country before it becomes too commercialized. I am a freelance photographer and do not have a scheduled assignment from any publication or broadcast outlet so I am wondering if that poses a problem? Has anyone out there attempted this or aware of how strict the guidelines are regarding photography? Any advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. </p>
