I do not have the Skills/Experience to "critique" from a photographers view point.....but as an observer, I think this is very good.

I think we see the right amount of everything:

sky

tree

birds

earth

Its funny how the birds are caught in (what looks like) the beginning of flight, and that lends motion to the rest of the pic. The tree almost appears to be riding a (moving) wave of hillside, with the dead log coming along for the ride, and the clouds watching from above. The clouds (oddly enough) seem stopped, while the landscape below them is in motion.

Was this from a tripod.?

Very nicely done. Its funny how the shoes (of all things) really makes or breaks this picture. The girl did a great job of projecting a certain amount of.....something.....Innocent Playfulness perhaps.? She really hit the right canter with her Smile/Expression.

Who set up that scene.? Its fabulous :)
