<p>Hello everyone. Recently got the Nikon D810 and noticed it had a Compact Flash card slot and an SD card slot. Why couldn't it have had 2 SD card slots like the D750? Is there an advantage to having 2 different types of cards? Is there an advantage to Compact Flash over SD or vice versa?<br> Thanks in advance and take care.<br> -George</p>

<p>Hello everyone. I recently bought my daughter a Nikon D810 with a Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G lens. Previous to this camera my daughter used a Pentax K-5. I noticed that sometimes when my daughter depresses the shutter release button on the D810 that the camera does nothing....doesn't take a picture or seemingly doesn't do anything...Why? Is the system hunting for best focus or is something else happening?<br> Thank you in advance for your help and take care.</p> <p>-George</p>
