<p>Thank you all for the responses. <br> I don't think that this is a repainted or replaced parts case because it came with the box and a warranty card showing the serial and model# together. And the model# says 10404 which stands for a black M6 for sure. So, I guess those tables are not 100% accurate...XD</p>

<p>Hi all, <br> I recently just bought a used Black M6 which is my first Leica. It works great by all means, and I am really enjoying by taking shots with it. One day I was checking the serial number of it from net, the table shows it is in the range of 1991001~1993000 which is indicated as a silver chrome model batch instead of black models. I am wondering how could this happened? Is there any special case for the production of M6 from time to time? Just curious :P </p>
