  1. <p>Hi Gerry,<br> Thanks for your comments. I'm using a telephoto lens 100-300mm. I also use AF + Manual focus. Haven't tried multiple exposure. Nice photo of the finch!</p>

  3. <p>I have a technical question regarding focusing. When you have a small subject with a busy background (e.g. a small bird sitting on a branch of a tree), sometimes the camera seems to have a mind of its own and does't want to focus on the bird but will focus on something in the background, e.g. a tree trunk. It's very frustrating. I use manual focus for immobile objects but you can't use it with birds because you usually have just few seconds to take your shot. I would be grateful for any advice. It's a great camera otherwise but this is driving me mad. I have lost several good shots because of this. Thank you in advance!</p>
