<p>I cleaned the contacts and lenses, hopefully my camera will be better enough to get me to Friday or otherwise I will have to look into renting.. :/ This camera has probably been in use for 5 years maybe?</p>

<p>My d300 has started doing something weird; randomly, when I have it on and I'm shooting, it kind of shuts down. If you look at the display screen, it still shows all the options except for my shutter speed and F stop at the top. But I can't take a picture, focus, view my photos, or anything; it's like the camera is off except the display is still on. All I need to do is turn it off then turn it back on and it's back in business. Sometimes it's doing this more frequently, and sometimes it's just every ten or fifteen minutes. It's kind of putting me in a panic because I have a wedding this weekend to shoot and this is my only camera! Any thoughts as to what the problem could be? It's not the battery.</p>
