1.
Hello,
In way of introductions, I have recently joined a company as a project manager, the person handling my position earlier left abruptly and took a lot of information with him. I am currently in a situation where I need to start working to find a solution for my project from scratch. Its fairly urgent as my project is a small component of a much bigger project and all the planning needs to fall into place urgently.
So we are deploying 40 odd cameras and photo printers (to be able to fit and work out of pick up trucks) and will need to deploy them for 2-3 months on field locations. They should have the capability to print photos in less than a minute. We want to take photos of people and give them those photos within a minute.
What I need to know is what all printers can I use, and what paper would be ideal. Given that the photos must all be a standard size of 4*6, and that price is of a prime concern. Over the period of 2-3 months we plan on distributing over 1,200,000 photos (for free).
The only info that I have from the previous guy in my position is that he was negotiating with Kodak for thermal paper rolls.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and regards
K
