  1. Don, you're gonna love that Maxwell screen. *UBER* fragile. If a blower brush won't get a bit off - proceed w/ extreme caution. The local factory 'blad service said I could expect 2 more stops of light from my pre-acutematte screen. It seems to deliver. The Rollei screen was a bit more reasonable. 'Blad w/ split/grid/microprism was just south of $400.

It would appear your Rollei likes it. :)

  2. Mike, Thx for posting the shot on the family shop. 'Neat to see.

Rick - that lockwood is killer. Its the consistent excellent execution that keeps smacking my eyes. 'Working hard on that constistency.

Ross - that truck shot was super you hung on to that shadow detail when it was tricky. The Pt. Lobos shot is gorgeous. 'A little soft & it sure seems like 1/8th should have bought you some water blur. 'Very nice. I mentioned I do the 80-90% shot well (complete w/ foul ups). The train shot was fine, but framed w/ the train too close to the left edge. It was fast approaching, so it was rushed, but I sure have a lot of 'close but no cigar' shots.

Train left the station. FP4, PyroHD

  3. Mike, you sure got the goods w/ that little Rollei. Nice one.

James - tones & range in the Weidmann's shot are killer. You're having fun w/ that F6 (voice of jealousy).

Bertliang - each is nice, but the beach cliff shot shines for me - which is unusual - I love night shots.

James, the Isolette (and the shooter) are delivering the goods in fine order.

'Always cringe - Rick's work is gorgeous. If Tony gets to connect, we need him to steal your secrets :)

Erko - Nice work w/ the Nikon. 'Love the composition, execution, title of 'Open House'. 'Gears' is also wonderful. Reflection brings alot to it.
