1.
Thanks so much for the help everyone. I'll try the tape idea. Also these ideas and information has got me thinking about some other things to try and add to it that might make it even easier. Thanks again, my mind was blank on what to try before. Really appreciate all your input. Will let you know how it goes. :)

 2.
It's been a while, I gave up scanning ages ago because it was so fiddly. I've looked into this at random times but can never find anything. I don't think the placement was always perfect so I had to keep an eye on it and fix the selection. I never did four at a time because they were way to messy and didn't like auto detect. If I had a print holder for four at a time that would be even better.
Also sticking them on the tray and keeping them straight and taking them off was difficult - I think a holder would really make it so much better. Then I would be able to just put them on the scanner and have the rest be automated without worrying about checking them on the computer or making adjustments.

Maybe I can make one out of cardboard or something. Any ideas?

 3.
Hello all,
Does anyone know of something like this and what they are called and where to find it?...

This is for scanning photographic prints (mainly 4x6) on a flatbed scanner. I wanted some sort of a holder for the prints before putting them on the scanner. Similar to negative holders but for prints. So I'd put the prints in the holder first then line the holder up along the edges of the scanner..
Have been searching for something like this for ages. But never found one. Do these exist or has anyone made something like this? I would find it easier to scan if I could find something like it.

Thanks if anyone can help... :)
