Thanks. Glad to hear it will work with the 86mm adapter. The 86mm adapter dosent seem to come in a wide angle version so I assume the normal one is ok.

I was the only bidder on a 40mm cfe lens so got it for a good price and when it arrived it was actually the 40mm cfe <strong>IF</strong> (more recent version) in great condition.<br> I use the lee filter system on my other lenses and was just wondering if anyone knows if I can use it with this lens without vignetting?<br> This is to use with film backs and a 503cw.</p> <p>Thanks, Rob.</p>

I think you are right. I think the answer is I need a bay 70 and a bay 60 lee adapter to be able to use the filters on both lenses. Thanks for all the help.

I am pretty sure the newer cfi 50mm is bay 70 but supplied with bay 60 adapter

Hi, I have just acquired a 503cw with 50, 80 and 150mm cfi/cfe lenses. I would like to use my LEE filter system with the 50 and 80mm lenses. I can purchase a bay 60 lee adapter which will work with the 80. Will it also work on the 50 in combination with the bay 70-60 adapter? Thanks in advance.
