<p>I've been experiencing an issue with my negatives lately. Sometimes, not all the time, when I take a picture, the holes either on the top or the bottom of the actual film will show up in my exposures as dark rectangles. I'm not sure what's causing the problem and how to stop it, but it ruins a lot of my pictures.</p>

My light meter will not show up on my camera. I have a Vivitar XVI. When I hold the shutter button halfway down, nothing happens. The battery power shows and it says I have a full battery. I do not know why I don't have a light meter on my camera, but I've been forced to use a phone app light meter instead, which is a hassle. Does anyone know why I don't have a light meter?
