Thanks John & Dave, both helpful responses. Do you guys think it's worth shelling 300 on what I've described? (It's the Xenar lense btw.) Or do you think there is a cheaper alternative in the intro Rollei world? If say, I spent 150, what kind of camera would I find myself with? -M

Hi all, I am new to the Rollei world, and have recently been offered a chance to purchase a Rolleiflex Automat Type 4, in pristine condition. Currently owned by the daughter of the man who purchased it in 1951 Germany... Original box, even sale receipt, hah. I have found price listings that indicate $300 is a fair price for this camera, but wanted to know if I can find a good Rollei for less? Or is this a deal to be jumped upon? Thanks in advance. -Matt
