1.
Thanks for the answer! just as I expected, it's another's lens shutter. I'll do the scale as you suggest.

 2.
I have a question. I bought a Crown Graphic with a Raptar 135mm f/4.7, however the marking in the shutter goes from f/7.5 (see attached photo) What is happening here? Is it a matter of the shutter on which the lens is mounted? is it actually f/4.7?
I'm new to large format so excuse me if the question is too obvious. Thanks

 3.
Yes, I'm also curious to know why the ends snapped. As far as I remember the trip where it broke was uneventful.
Maybe I'll try to shape a similar wire by hand using a pair of plyers.
If I buy a replacement hood I'll follow your advice, I often have the same problem with my face reflected on the ground glass. Thank you all for your input.

 4.
Thank you all for your kind answers.
You are certainly right, the heavy wire seems to have snapped on both ends, and it no longer supports the lid. So now I only have the small 3 springs.
hmmm... this seems to be a weird thing to repair. Any suggestions on how to do it? Am i destined to buy a replacement finder?

 5.

Hello everyone, I would like to ask a question about my Mamiya's C330 waist level finder.
During a trip something happened to the waist level finder and now the frontal part swings back and forth, whereas before it would stay perfectly perpendicular to the ground glass. The same issue also causes that while the finder is closed the top part is easily opened, before it would stay closed until deliberately opened. This might seem a small problem but it is incredibly annoying when shooting because the magnifying glass adds more weight on the side and makes the swiveling more pronounced, this makes the focusing procedure difficult and cumbersome.

I have examined the finder but cannot find which part should be the responsible of keeping the lid closed tightly and perfectly upright when in use. Could you please advice me? maybe I have lost a part or springbut cannot exactly pin point which one. Thanks!

 6.
Do you think 300 euro (330USD) is a good price?

 7.
Thanks for your answer Joseph! very informative.
Regarding the polaroid back, I was actually thinking of this Horseman 6x9 polaroid back
http://www.ebay.it/itm/Polaroid-Back-for-Horseman-2x3-/291391679841?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43d84c2d61
Another thing. Would it be difficult to make a cam for the linhof lens?
Thanks for your input.

 8.
Hello, I have the opportunity to buy a Horseman Topcon rangefinder at a good price.

The camera has a Linhof/Schneider Xenar 105mm lens. My first question is, would I be able to use the rangefinder accurately with this lens? The seller seems quite unaware of the issue, (the camera was of a relative) and says that it can be focused with the ground glass (of course). Do you think that it is an easy issue? maybe he is unaware of the infinity stops on the board. What are your opinions on the subject?

Another question regards a polaroid back. If I buy the camera I would liek to use it with polaroid pack film (Fuji FP-100) . A regular horseman polaroid back would do the trick? Do you see any problem?

Thanks for helping me out.
