1.
Hello all;
I recently purchased an A2 power winder for my Canon A-1 (which is also relatively new) and it doesn't seem to be advancing the film completely. When I release the shutter it does seem to advance the film slightly, however I can't shoot another photo and I can still manually advance the film (which, as I understand it I shouldn't be able to do), and if I do not manually advance the film I can't shoot another photo.
Everything is attached correctly and tightly, I put in brand new batteries and as I said it seems to be partially advancing the film. As for the condition of the camera and winder I would say they're both in pretty decent shape, obviously they were bought used but both have minimal surface damage and both are solid (I.E. no loose parts, missing screws, ect.).
Is there something I haven't done? Was so excited to have the winder (that came in the mail today) and then it ends up not working right.
Thanks for the help.
