1.
Peter, Craig.
Thanks so much for the responses. Yes, I'm very new to corporate selling and do assume they have a higher budget being a hotel.
But was also weary when they were just asking for more "stock-like" images. Tough to say exactly what their budget is, but for that size I think the prices you're quoting are fair prices (I was originally going to ask for less). Also thanks for the advice on day rates, as I'm new to that type of work as well.

Cheers,
David

 2.
Hi All,

First time posting on here, but have used this place as a great resource before, so thanks to all the users helping and contributing.

My question is how much to charge for a digital photo. The scenario is this. A printing company working with a hotel in Miami reached out to me for an image. The use will be behind a desk in one of the hotel offices, large print 60 x 120.
The printing company will do the printing and framing, and are only looking for an image with their hotel client. I've never had this type of business before (it's through a friend's family member) so am unsure of what to charge.
I've clarified that it would be a one-time use (am trusting this due to the connection to the lead). I may have to go out and shoot some shots if they don't like work from my portfolio.
Advice on pricing something like this? Both the scenario of me just sending a digital file and having them print it, or me going out and taking shots for them.
My website is www.davidakiogrant.com if you wanted to put into context the level of my photography to help formulate an answer.
Thanks so much!
David
