<p>Thank you all for your advice. I have ordered a LaCie back up drive with a Raid 1 configuration. This will mirror 3TB of info. I don't have a lot of data now, but I'm sure I can upgrade this in the future. I will also use another drive (1TB) with my Time Machine (Mac) back ups.</p> <p>Thanks again.</p>

<p>Hello all, </p> <p>Currently I'm in the market for an on-site back up solution and would like to hear from you about your choices for back ups.<br> I have a small business so I'm looking for 2 GBs to start with. The system should be able to work with a Mac have automated scheduling and take RAW files. I have read up on the Drobo system and while it sounds like the right gear for me, many have warned against it. Several negative reviews have put me off the Drobo. The last information I found on this forum was from 2011. I'm sure much has changed since then and I'm hoping some of you can share your story with me.</p> <p>Thank you for your time</p> <p>Ben</p>
